Does my employer need to submit both her and her husbands "declaración de la renta" if they file separately?

Hello!
I’m in the process of modifying my student visa to a cuenta ajena work visa. I’ll be doing this by “working” as empleado de hogar and then switching to an academy. Anyways, the woman originally hiring me files her declaración de la renta separate from her husbands and on her husbands declaración he has hired another empleado de hogar… She’s worried that if she has to show both they may not give me the visa. Any insight would be much appreciated!
Thank you!
Megan

Hi Megan,
Thanks a lot for your question! If their finances are totally separate I don’t see why there would be any problem. Also, there’s nothing barring one family from hiring two in-home workers, as long as they have the finances to support both. At any rate, if you’d like a SpainGuru lawyer to give you feedback on the details of your situation, you might consider setting up a consultation! You can find more information about that here: http://spainguru.es/consultations/
