Question

Can a UK student apply for a Student Visa from Spain?Has anyone done this?

So much conflicting information out there. The Spanish Embassy in Edinburgh told me it is not possible for UK students to apply from Spain.

These are the answers of some Facebook group members:

“Yes you can. You must have at least 30 days left on your tourist allowance in order to be eligible to apply from Spain though. About the Edinburgh consulate, sadly (and not surprisingly) they don’t know what they’re talking about. It used to be impossible but it changed a few years ago.”

“Yes with 30 days remaining on Schengen validity”
