“You have 1 month to appeal the decision, they have 3 months to reply to the appeal. It’s just a letter to the consulate general, basically challenging there decision and stating why you think there decision is wrong.”

“It can work depending on why you were declined, you can also seek legal advice to help appeal which you will have to pay for, these people will know the law better and can assist in typing the letter.”

In conclusion, according to Spainguru Facebook group members, the process of appealing a non lucrative Spain visa (nlv) decision involves submitting a letter to the consulate general within one month of the initial decision. This letter should challenge the decision and provide reasons for believing it is incorrect. While appeals can be effective, seeking legal advice may also be beneficial, albeit at an additional cost, as legal experts possess a deeper understanding of the relevant laws and can assist in crafting a persuasive appeal letter.
