These are the answers of some Facebook group members:

”Going through this now with the help of a lawyer. And can confirm that you are expected to leave the country. You can apply for a work visa ( from Canada and takes forever) or leave the Schengen zone, re-enter as a tourist and apply for any visa that can be applied to from within the country (student, prácticas, highly qualified, etc)”

”Once you finished I believe you cannot change to a different visa. you will need to leave Spain and have the Company process the work permit from your country of origin”

”From my experience in order to change my visa from YMV to a different one, I had to go back and apply from Canada”

”Following! I am in the same situation”

In conclusion, Spainguru Facebook group members, if your visa expires in Spain and you accept a job offer with an indefinite contract, you are generally expected to leave the country. You would need to apply for a work visa from your home country or explore the option of leaving the Schengen zone and re-entering as a tourist to apply for a different visa from within Spain. It is recommended to consult with a lawyer for specific guidance.
