Does anybody know of a reputable tax advisor who could handle my tax both in Spain and the US?

Question

US/Spain Freelancer Tax Help? Hello all, I am a US citizen with Spain residency through marriage. I work 100% remotely for a US company as a freelance contractor, and my wages are deposited into my US account, then some is transferred to my Spanish account. Does anybody know of a reputable tax advisor who could handle my tax situation BOTH in Spain and the US?

Is this a crazy dream I have that someone like this exists? I would love to be able to hand over my paperwork and trust someone to do it for me. So far I have talked to a gestor in Madrid who told me I had to register as autónomo here and pay taxes here, and vaguely told me what I had to do on the US side but was clearly not an expert.

These are the answers of some Facebook group members:

“I don’t know that you should register as autónomo here… look into that further. Sending you a PM. As for a US expat tax specialist, I use fabertax – they’re great, though they can’t help you with your Spanish taxes.”

“Im in the same exact situation only difference is I own my own company in the states and pay myself.”

“You absolutely should be paying taxes to Spain as you are a tax resident. Not sure about the autonomo thing if you’re only contracting for 1 company.”
