Question about the non lucrative Spain visa
I have looked many places but haven’t found the requirements to convert an non lucrative Spain visa to a long term Spain visa. We will have been here 5 years this summer. I know they will want to see our passports so I need to find out if I need to renew my passport now. It will expire end of December of 2024. Can anyone help me out with this information?

“Our lawyer reminded us and sent me a list of my information needed. I sent my lawyer the items on list with my lawyer checking list and sending it in to govt. When lawyer said it was accepted. I On my own, I booked my appointment to give my fingerprints, then pick up card 45 days later. Approx. 500 euros for lawyer.”

“They need all passports from the last 5 years and 1 year remaining on the current passport. A historial padron can also be included, and it’s best applied for with digital certificate“
In conclusion, if you’re looking to convert your non lucrative Spain visa to a long term Spain visa and have been in Spain for at least five years, it’s important to ensure that you have all the necessary documents. This includes all passports from the last five years and at least one year remaining on the current passport. It’s also recommended to include a historical padron, which can be applied for with a digital certificate. By having these documents in order, you can streamline the process of converting your visa and ensure that everything goes smoothly.
