Is there a checklist available for what to do after getting approved for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa?

Question about the Spain Digital Nomad Visa

Does anyone have a definitive guide for what to do after getting approved for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa? A checklist would be great.

These are the answers of some Facebook group members:

”Book T.I.E appointment, Attend, Book card collection appointment, Collect card”

”You are asking if they want proof of social security before giving you the TIE? Is that because you had to promise to register in your application? Regardless, you should meet the commitments you make in your application, but they won’t be checking those things at your TIE appointment”

”I was told that I should wait for the TIE first to signup myself up as an autónomo and thus the Seguridad Social. I could sign myself up before but the accountant told me that would make the process difficult, plus the banks in Spain won’t accept my NIE unless I use my passport and pay 60 euros per month in insurance”

In conclusion, according to Spainguru Facebook group members, after getting approved for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa, book an appointment to obtain a T.I.E (Tarjeta de Identidad de Extranjero) , attend it, schedule a card collection appointment, and collect your T.I.E card. Additional steps such as signing up for Spanish Social Security and registering as an autonomo may vary based on individual circumstances.
