NLV Houston: Is Online Schooling Accepted for Kids?
Prepping for our Houston Spain Non Lucrative Visa appointment with kids. In the event that they ask for proof of private school enrollment, I’d like to have a plan. I think someone mentioned using IVLA online school Online Schooling for that.
Has anyone done that? It’s an accredited US-based school. I am wondering if that would work for the application.

“You need to check, as I understand if applying for a child visa, they have to be enrolled in an international private school. Online schools will not be allowed. Once in Spain and you have the visa you can enroll them in a Spanish school. It’s expected as part of your 1st renewal that they have been in school for 6 months.”
“Where did you find this information? Since it’s not an official requirement and it’s not spelled out anywhere, I can’t find any specifics or rules.”
“I have looked into everything I can on here and other sites, as we are taking a child with us who we are guardians for. We have had to do a huge amount to sort it. We are waiting now for our visas but we are in the UK.
The girl who collected our papers commented that it was good we had enrolled him in an international school. Maybe try searching the rules of school education in Spain then visas for children. Good luck.”
