Question
I’m a Bangladeshi citizen currently earning between $10,000–$20,000 per month through blogging and Google AdSense (remote income). I’m very interested in applying for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa, but I’d like to know:
🔹 Is this visa available for Bangladeshi passport holders directly?
🔹 Has anyone from Bangladesh successfully received this visa already?
🔹 If you’re a Bangladeshi currently in Spain on a nomad visa or in the process, could you please share your experience?

Start the Moving to Spain Hub →“Yes, you should have no problem other than the one of having to compile all of the bureaucracy. The documents read ‘This visa is for any foreigner planning to live in Spain as a resident, working remotely for a company or an employer (or self-employed) located outside of the Spanish national territory, and using exclusively computer telematics and telecommunication media and systems.'”
“The possible issue I see is with the supporting documents to accredit that you have long-term contracts with clients, in your situation.”
“To me it’s the same as being a YouTuber, or an Instagrammer. They get paid by hosting ads on their blog, usually on a pay-per-click basis. So no contract with a company in the conventional sense, and no authorisation letter.”
“Thank you for the comparison, and I see where you’re coming from. However, I would respectfully say that it’s not exactly like being an influencer or YouTuber. Google AdSense operates as an automated advertising platform where publishers (like myself) monetize their websites by hosting ads served by Google.

Explore Cities →It’s a structured revenue-sharing model — not just informal content posting. Although there is no traditional contract or authorisation letter, Google provides: official monthly payment statements, tax documents and financial summaries, publisher ID and verified account records, consistent and traceable bank payments for years.
This isn’t a sponsorship-type model. It’s a fully independent, algorithm-driven system — closer to being a remote digital business owner than just a content creator. So I kindly ask you to consider this distinction, and if needed, I’m happy to prepare a clear breakdown of the structure to support the application.”
“I’d definitely prepare all those records, with notarisation, apostilled and sworn translated into Spanish.”
“We got the Spanish Non Lucrative visa in 2020 with Google Adsense and renewed it each time without a problem. It’s difficult with the DNV, because Google does not provide a contract. I think your most likely scenario for success is to receive the money into a business account, with an LLC, then pay yourself from there.
This way, you have a client — your LLC — but even that has to be set up in a way that they can’t see that it’s you… which these pros have experience in doing. If you want to advocate for doing it your way, you of course can, and it would probably be a first, if successful.”
“Open a company, let the company issue you a contract stating your salary and giving you permission to work remotely. Pay yourself salary from the company in line with the salary requirements of the DNV.
Nationality is not an issue once you meet the documentary requirements. I also recommend you get a good immigration lawyer to guide you through the documentation process. All the best.”
“Yep. It just means waiting until the company is 1 year old. It’s what many people do.”
Conclusion
According to Spainguru community members, Bangladeshi citizens are not excluded from applying for the Spain Digital Nomad Visa, as long as they meet the visa’s documentation and income requirements.
However, those earning via Google AdSense may face challenges since AdSense doesn’t provide a traditional employment contract or authorisation letter—both of which are commonly expected for DNV applications.
Several contributors suggest forming an LLC or similar entity, using it to receive AdSense revenue, and issuing a self-employed contract to satisfy application requirements.
Others recommend compiling a complete financial package including monthly statements, tax documents, and official records from Google, and ensuring all are translated, notarised, and apostilled if necessary.
While AdSense income is legitimate and well-documented, the lack of a standard employment contract makes it more complex for DNV eligibility. Working with an experienced immigration lawyer is highly recommended, especially for applicants from non-EU countries like Bangladesh.
