How long are taking Spanish Student Visas processes at Toronto Spanish Consulate?

Last Updated on March 18, 2026 by Bruno Bianchi

Question

Does anyone have positive stories recently of student visa processes at the Toronto Spanish Consulate? I applied for my visa on the 16th of august but have been seeing a lot of bad news about waiting times. I am doing NALCAP. Any other auxes out there have their visas and if so what dates did you send It?

“Was there four times and saw students get theirs at times; it’s much better this week versus last week when there was a huge backlog and people were down to wire with flights. We got our visa yesterday after 11 weeks and it’s a more complicated kind than student visa”

”Sent mine June 20th, still no reply/ information from them on the status of it. Happy to hear some of you got yours !”

“I had mine done during covid (april/may 2020) and went through no problem”

“They received my application on august 2nd and I just got the call yesterday that it is ready and was mailed out. Hope you get yours soon!”
