Question
Has anyone here gotten home internet and mobile service without having a Spanish bank account? I’ve looked a few and they all want a Spanish bank account and don’t plan to get one. We’ll be in Barcelona.

I tried: before moving to Spain I had a Polish euro-denominated bank account that I could’ve used for all my payments. It didn’t work with insurance as they required a Spanish account, so I ultimately got one, and this proved to be the case with everything else that requires recurring transactions (so utilities, the mobile phone bill, etc.). I strongly recommend you get a Spanish bank account.”
