Does anyone who has gone the notary route to get married in Spain have any recommendations for a notary they used that was fairly inexpensive? In Madrid!

“In Madrid, you’re assigned the notary who will perform your marriage by the colegio de notarios so you won’t have a hand in selecting where you’ll be married. My friend is doing the same process. He was assigned a notary, which luckily was only a 20-minute walk from his place”

“Unfortunately you can’t choose where you do your initial notary appointment (it’s assigned to you) . You can choose which notary you go to get married.”

“You get assigned one for the instruction phase. You can choose one for the ceremony. Prices are legally regulated.”
