Start the Moving to Spain Hub →One way to check the status of your application is called “con formulario.” This will allow you to input your NIE, the date you submitted your application, and the year of your birth. This will give you an update on where your application is in the process and what the next steps are.
Another option is to use the Cl@ve pin. This is a pin that you can use for various procedures with Spanish Hacienda (the equivalent to USA’s IRS). To get this pin, you will need to register either in person or online. Once registered, you can download the Cl@ve pin app and use it to check the status of your application.
