Question about the Digital Nomad Visa Spain
When applying for the Digital Nomad Visa Spain, anyone knows if the certificate of incorporation is time limited, like the Acro has six months and the wedding certificate has three months ?
Ive applied for my Acro and A1 and will apply for my wedding certificate in a few months, just couldn’t find anything about time limits for the certificate of incorporation!
Answers
These are the answers of some Facebook group members:
”Can I check why you need your wedding certificate? Not heard this before”
”I was told to get an updated one with a certificate of good standing on it. As the certificate of incorporation just shows it was open and set up and when – it doesn’t confirm it’s still open and still trading. I got an updated one with a statement of good standing which is wet-dated and signed with the current date. And then was advised to legalise and translate that”
”No time limit no. The important thing is that it shows the company has been in existence for at least a year”
In conclusion, according to Spainguru Facebook group members, there doesn’t seem to be a time limit for the certificate of incorporation. However, some suggest getting an updated certificate of good standing to confirm the company’s active status. The wedding certificate’s necessity depends on individual circumstances, for example, if you want to add a dependent to your Digital Nomad Visa Spain application.
