Question about EU family member permanent residency
I have a permanent residency in Spain (miembro de la familia EU – EU family member), and currently I am working for a Spanish company.
I would like to ask, if there’s a company registered in Netherlands or UK , can they hire me and remote work from Spain ?

These are the answers of some Facebook group members:
”Yes”
”Yes, or the employer needs to create a Spanish company. The reason is that you need to find a way to pay the INSS”
”No, till you haven’t a EU passport, you just have a work permit to work in Spain. But the company in other EU country can give you a Sponsorship, but it’s not common, I saw it just in Big tech company for Senior Software Engineering and Big Public Universities”
Conclusion
In conclusion, according to Spainguru Facebook group members, the responses from Facebook group members suggest that obtaining a work permit in Spain may require either having an EU passport or finding a company in another EU country willing to provide sponsorship.
Additionally, some mention that this sponsorship is more common in specific fields like senior software engineering and within certain large organizations or public universities. Ultimately, navigating the intricacies of working in Spain as a non-EU citizen may involve different approaches, depending on your circumstances and industry.
