“You have to provide proof of where your 401K comes from, e.g., we had to provide proof of where our savings came from, such as a letter of redundancy (with date and amount), documents from the sale of property, or inheritance, etc.
These prove that savings weren’t just suddenly acquired (could have been borrowed temporarily, siphoned, etc.) for Spain non lucrative visa application purposes.”

According to Spainguru’s Facebook group members, when applying for the Spain non lucrative visa (NLV), you must provide documentation proving the existence and source of your 401K funds.
Suggested documents include statements or printouts from your 401K account showing its balance and evidence of its origin, such as employment records, redundancy letters, or sale documents.
These materials help establish the legitimacy and availability of the funds for your NLV application.
