Question
PAREJA DE HECHO question: I am in Spain as an American (language assistant program) but I also have a Mexican passport (haven’t used it since 2007 or so, but recently got it renewed in the embassy in madrid)… I haven’t lived in Mexico in a really really long time nor did I enter Spain with it, but **would it be ok if I apply for pareja de hecho using my Mexican citizenship instead of my American?**
Why? I’m am struggling a lot with the soltería documents from the USA because I’ve moved around a bit (long story short: Texas can only prove my soltería by giving me a marriage certificate by entering a partner’s info and a wedding date but I’ve never been married!! They also ask for a state ID but mine is from Washington… I nor my family live there anymore but I haven’t had a chance to get a Texas ID… chaos and confusion, been at it for almost 3 months…)

“Sorry to hear you’re having these problems! Unfortunately, you’ll need to apply for a PDH with the nationality linked to your NIE.”
“Yes, you can use your Mexican nationality to apply for residency in Spain. But get an Immigration attorney in Spain to help. Pm me I can get you a name of a good but reasonable one.”
“When doing a pdh in madrid never ever ever mention to the office that you have more than one passport. They rejected an application from me for this reason”
