Question about drive a car in Spain
We bought a car in Spain under my name. Can my husband take it for a ITV test if I give him power of attorney and he takes my passport with him? In other words, is it legal for someone to drive a car in Spain that is not under their name?

“In Spain, anyone who has a valid (!) driving licence, and who’s over 25 years of age, can drive someone else’s vehicle. No need to inform one’s insurer but it’s advisable – just to be on the safe side – to give the other driver written authorisation to be kept in the vehicle. As long as the driver is insured and meets certain age and license requirements, they can legally operate the vehicle without the need for a power of attorney. It’s advisable to carry written authorization in the vehicle for added precaution. For more detailed information, refer to the provided link: https://n332.es/permission-to-use-your-vehicle/.
