Question about the non lucrative Spain visa
Still waiting for non lucrative Spain visa from Manchester after 10 weeks… Now need our passports back as we are due to fly out… has anyone done this … if so what did you do?

“My wife’s showed resolved on the Spanish website after 8 weeks. A week later Manchester had not contacted her to collect the passport with the visa in. 2 days before we were due to fly out we went to the Manchester Consulate and begged for the passport with the visa. Success after one hour. If yours shows ‘Resolved’ on line I suggest you do the same. Our alternate would have been to collect the passport, fly out and come back just to get the visa stamped in. Good luck”
“how do you track online? I was never given a tracking code after my NLV appointment in Manchester?”
“We had our NIE numbers already, plus date of appointment, plus year of birth. The other way is through the serial number given to you, maybe on the pay.ent receipt. I’ll try to get back to you on how to get on the website. Certainly ‘lifestyle’ Spain tells you.”

“May have it wrong. Just checked using my status again. The alternative to an NIE is a 15 digit file number. I can only find that file number on my status report. No where else to be seen. Not on my receipts. Lost now, sorry.”
