How can non lucrative Spain visa holders find a house rental in Spain?

Question about non lucrative Spain visa holders searching rental properties in Spain

Me & wife got our non lucrative Spain visa V and we arrived to Spain on Friday, but seems to be not easy to find rental here in Tarragona , I heard the real estate agencies ask for emloyment prove & salary .
On the other hand our Spanish language is still poor to be able to call and communicate with agents who most of them do not know English .
Will appreciate so much to read non luc rative Spain visaholders’ experiences or ideas in finding house rental after moving to Spain
