Question
Have any Australians applied for the Spanish Digital nomad visa in Spain?
Our Social Security Agreement with Spain doesn’t cover Australian residents employed in a different country and working from another country.

Start the Moving to Spain Hub →In the guidelines, it says either a Certificate of Coverage from your home country OR registration with the Spanish Social Security by the company I am employed with. Does anyone know what that entails and what kind of push back I can expect if making that request?
Also curious to know – if I apply for the DNV within my 90 day tourist visa in Spain, is it true that I can stay in Spain beyond my 90 days until they decide on my visa application?
