I need to return to Spain for the closing on the apartment we are purchasing. We have already spent 88 continuous days in there. Will this cause a problem when applying for my Spain non lucrative visa?

“Potentially. But don’t forget it’s a rolling 180 days. I suggest you take the LAST day of your PROPOSED signing trip, count BACK 180 days. If in that time you won’t have spent 90 days in the Schengen Area then you know you are good to go”
“Yes it will show on your passport”
Conclusion
Spending 88 continuous days in Spain for your apartment closing could affect your Spain non lucrative visa application application due to Schengen’s rolling 180-day limit.
