Could someone explain to me how to apply to the Spain Digital Nomad Visa for myself, sponsoring my 2 kids, and my partner?

“You can either apply at your local consulate. Or once you have the documentation plus your NIE number you can come to Spain, get a digital certificate and apply online

Firstly you will need to have pretax earnings of 51,597 a year in 2024. If the country you are applying from doesn’t have an accepted Social Security agreement from the Spain Digital Nomad Visa you will need to be freelance.

You will need to show you have been freelance for that company or group of companies for 3 months.

That you have a relevant degree (apostilled and sworn translated) or you can show 3 years work experience

You’ll need the certificate of good standing to show any companies you have contracts with have been in business a year and are still in business (apostilled and sworn translated.)

Contracts with all clients (plus sworn translations)

Letters from each client expressly giving permission to carry out your duties in Spain (sworn translated )

Documentation accrediting all relationships- so marriage or civil partnership, birth certificates etc all issued within the last 6 months with apostille and sworn translation

Criminal record checks on each adult (apostille and sworn translation )

Criminal record declaration

Simple CV (plus translation)

Payslips and invoices

Every page is everyone’s passport (showing they are legally in Spain on day of application)”
