I need to have my FBI check apostille…do I have to get it notarized first before sending it to Washington? Also, do you recommend using a service for this or doing it on my own?

“You can do it on your own. Don’t have it notarized. You can’t alter the document. Just send it to the Office of Authentications at the U.S. Dept of State with the correct form and a money order. We sent it with Next Day Delivery from USPS and placed a prepaid Next Day Delivery envelope inside to expedite its return.”
