What are the things requirements did you bring with you during appointment date? And could you share more info about it if possible?

“STEP 1 – GET AN APPOINTMENT
• Email cog.manila.cita@maec.es.
• Subject: Appointment request – NIE
• In the body, write that you are requesting an NIE appointment and that your papers are ready.

• Include: full name + passport number + contact email.
• Use an active email address.
• Wait for the reply (usually a few days; the schedule is 1–2 weeks out).

STEP 2 – DOWNLOAD & FILL OUT THE FORMS
• EX-15 Application Form
• Form 790-012 (tax form)
• Fill out typed online, no e-signature.

• Print both forms and sign with a pen.

STEP 3 – PREPARE YOUR DOCUMENTS
• Original passport + 1 photocopy
• Printed & signed EX-15 + 790-012
• ₱610 exact fee (current rate)
• If sending a representative: bring the Special Power of Attorney + 3 signature specimens.

STEP 4 – SHOW UP ON APPOINTMENT DAY
• Be 15–20 minutes early at the 5th Floor, ACT Tower, 135 Gil Puyat Ave., Makati.
• Double-check the forms.

STEP 5 – SUBMIT, PAY, DONE
• Submit the documents and pay the fee.

STEP 6 – WAIT FOR THE E-MAIL
• Processing time: about 3–4 weeks.
• The Consulate will email your NIE letter in reply to your appointment confirmation email.
• Check for errors or discrepancies on your actual NIE Certificate.”
