About Spainguru

Our Story

Spainguru was born from the real-life experiences of three determined American expats who chose Spain as their new home. After navigating the complexities of Spanish immigration, we realized that many others could benefit from our lessons learned.

About Spainguru

Christina Samson, Shaheen Samavati, and Stacey Taylor each arrived in Spain for unique reasons — teaching English, studying at IE Business School, or simply embracing a spontaneous leap into a new culture.

Despite different paths, we were united by a common goal: to live and work in Spain legally, happily, and long-term. Sharing our stories through blogs, videos, and community groups quickly turned into something more powerful — a platform to guide thousands of others.

Christina grew Madrid’s largest English-speaking expat group with over 25,000 members. Stacey became a beloved blogger and YouTube creator. Shaheen became a go-to expert for Americans in Spain and worked with Spotahome.com.

In 2021, Bruno Bianchi joined Spainguru and expanded the vision. Through Facebook communities like NLV, DNV, and Golden Visa, Spainguru grew to over 40,000 members.

Bruno launched our YouTube channel — now with over 850 videos — and created a network of trusted partners offering immigration law, tax advice, health insurance, sworn translation, apostilles, and more.

Today, Bruno is CEO & Owner of Spainguru.es.
